Now I’m officially living in San Francisco and have started to dig into my role at my new Digital shop; I do not have any more excuses.

I can’t post daily as I did when this blog first started but I think I can pull off a few times a week.

After many months of contemplation, I decided to leave my current agency for an all digital shop. I’m in the process of finishing up my last week of work, start training for the new job next week and move up to San Francisco the week after that.

So, the blogging will resume once I’m settled. But you can always catch me on twitter or if you really like me you can friend me on facebook.

How did I ever survive 8 hours at school without a single cup of coffee?

Does anyone ever call those “Hows my Driving?” numbers on the back of company cars and trucks?

Where did the wild bunnies in my neighborhood come from?

Have you ever replied to, or bought, from a spam email?

Why isn’t the ‘thank you wave’ a universal gesture on the road?

How come the bitchiest clients always have the most money?

When will I actually feel like I’m a grown up?

What will it take to get the baristas at my Starbucks to finally learn my name and coffee order?

At times like these my only comfort if BoogieBoogiehedgeHog….ENJOY!

I love San Diego but I miss some of the seasons from my four years of college in Connecticut. Just one or two rainy days would be nice. Nothing too cold or wet, but something other 70 and sunny.

When we hired a new addition to the agency…I immediately ran the candidates names through Facebook, Google and Addictomatic to find about more about them. I won’t divulge the dirt, but it made me think about what online dirt is out there on my name that is not really me.

My name is pretty standard, so I’m not surprised that when I search for myself there are plenty of results and I am not one of them. Addictomatic returns some of my blog posts and tweets, but most of the listings are the other hundreds that share my name.

There is an Erin Norton who makes jewelry, another who works at FPL FiberNet, one who plays collegiate softball, another who designs for Retro Rags Collection and many Facebook profiles that are not me. No police blotter results or major negative press at least not in the first few results pages.

While I’m glad there is nothing bad about me floating around out there, as an online media professional it saddens me a bit that who I am does not rank in Google.

So no new blogs while I’m having fun, but I have a bunch a drafts in the works!

It makes me so sad to realize that I am grouped in the 25-54 demo….

After an hour of cleaning, I finally sat down but ending up writing my analysis on the Google media planning tools (which will be posted later), but I can’t seem to make myself do actual work.

Ugh tomorrow is going to be a long, painful day at the office.
