As if you really need another reason to vote, Starbucks is giving away coffee to any voter who stops by today.

Dear Dunkin Donuts, 

I really loved your bacon, egg and cheese bagels, they got be through a lot of really bad hangovers in college. But you don’t exist in San Diego, so I got over you pretty quickly. Microwaving fake egg, fake baconand a slice of cheese all on a bagel is delicious, but not really difficult. I never understood why anyone would drink your coffee- who do you think you are adding cream and sugar for me?!

After spending my first year and a half at college in Connecticut without decent coffee, I walked through an f-ing blizzard the day the first Starbucks opened near campus. That’s right I actually went outside while it was snowing, something I wouldn’t even do for class. 

With that being said, I certainly don’t believe your newest ads. But at least they’re better than Rachel Ray! 

Fall is my favorite time of year, not because of changing season or fall weather (none of that nonsese in San Diego), but becasue of Pumpkin Spice Lattes at Starbucks. I indulge myself more frequently at Starbucks in the fall for those latte’s, but noramlly I’m a 7-11 coffee drinker. 

Delicious, cheap and the 7-11 crew on 5th and Quince in Bankers Hill worry about me when don’t show up for my morning coffee at least once at week. 

I’m also loving the 7-Election ’08! Check out the site here. Coffee drinkers get to pick their presidential candidate’s cups and all ‘votes’ are counted by the UPC scanner. Apparently the previous 7-Elections have been really acurate in the last two elections. 

Currently Obama is up 57% to 43%.
